One More Snowman Table

Welcome and thanks for stopping by. Thursday has arrived again and brought the wonderful Tablescape Thursday with our amazing hostess Susan at BNOTP.

I decided to do one more Snowman table using things I already had around here.

I made my own napkin rings with some ribbon and poinsettia's. They didn't turn out too bad, I wish I would have left the ribbons longer.

This is my Gibson Claremont dishes. I think everyone has these in a similar pattern.

I draped a crocheted runner in a off white around my cake pedestal and wooden trees. I have learned that from seeing all of your wonderful blogs.

This little snow lady has been with me for years. I like how one eye peeks out from the hat. It adds to her "cool" persona, don't you think?

OK, I will stop try to be clever and let you look at the rest of the shots. (HE HE)

AH, the attempt at the arial view. What can I say. Any suggestions?

Have a WONDREFUL Thursday and be sure to visit as many of these amazing Tablescapes as you possibly can. Thanks for stopping by!

My First Table Top Tuesday, A Christmas Village

Happy Tuesday all! That means it's Table Top Tuesday at Marty's A Stroll Thru Life, make sure you give her a visit if you haven't ever had the privilege. I have been lurking over there for awhile and I am so excited to participate. I hope my sofa table counts!

I have had this village for probably 13 years or so. It was a gift from my hubby. I have enjoyed watching my two younger children and now my granddaughter peek into it and sometimes rearrange. I have broke two pieces in moving and replaced them but now its discontinued so sadly development is over in this little village.

It contains a book store, flower shop , a windmill we added as a nod to my husbands Dutch heritage and a music store. I think I will check trusty old EBay for a replacement for the church.

Here is the flower shop. The little florist is working away inside potting Poinsettia's. Sorry for the poor photography.

The book store is open and ready for story time for the kiddo's. Afterwards everyone can go outside to skate on the pond or watch from the bridge.

The music store is located near the gazebo where the local band plays Christmas songs. I can hear them playing Jingle Bell's right now with all the village's shoppers singing along. Can you hear it?

One more picture with the lights just because the photographer is using her training wheels still(he he he). Thank you Marty for hosting TTT and I will be enjoying all the beautiful vignette's today! Have a WONDERFUL Tuesday and Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your Holiday season!

A Snowman Table Just For Fun!

Happy Tablescape Thursday to all. We all get to fire up our imagination and link up with Susan at Between Naps on the Porch. I have had these dishes for a few years now, I think I got them at GW. They are so cute, we use them for our everyday holiday dishes. They have no markings. I guess that makes them a mystery.

Up close you will see my new monogrammed napkins. "S" is for snowman. How perfect! They are Irish linen and I got them from EBay.

The chair covers are cute little guys too. I got this snow family years ago from a catalog. They are cute and casual and wash up so well.

Just a quick informal weeknight table to usher in a little holiday cheer. After accidentally deleting my wonderful Thanksgiving tablescape pictures, I decided to stop kicking myself long enough to try again. Blogging has a steep learning curve! He He He!

A little peek through the green water goblets ala Dollar General.

A few shots of my last minute idea to wrap some garland around the plain candles. Works in a pinch, I'd say.

One last shot. See the forks peeking out of the stocking?

I am off to see the handiwork of all the amazing tablescapers. I can wait! Christmas will be alive and well in blogland! Have a great TT and see you back here soon! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I appreciate them greatly!
