Debbie Mumm Roosters by Onedia

Happy Thursday Everyone! It's our favorite day of the week for all things dish related. Make sure you stop by Susan's Tablescape Thursday, she has been giving us SO much great party planning insight. Wouldn't it be wonderful to be a dinner guest of hers? SIGH....

Again this week I have Roosters, big shock hunh? When I said I loved Roosters I meant it. I bought these salad plates earlier this year on eBay. I have been wanting to put them in a tablescape for awhile. The colors I thought could go very well with a little fall touch. Debbie Mumm is a wonderful artist she does so many unique takes on animals, have you ever seen her Christmas and Snowman work? SO CUTE!

I scored these water goblets in Dollar Store. I don't go in there very much but I was very happy to drag 8 of these little babies out of there for a dollar a piece. I just love the color. I didn't have any everyday glasses in colors. If one should bite the dust, I can just grab another for that price with no worries.

The table runner is a Dollar Store find also. I just love the colors in it. I didn't have anything like it so it was destined to be mine too.

I have several Anchor Hocking Pumpkins and I decided this one would make a good candle holder for today. I plopped a green pillar and some pine cones and berries. I think it turned out just fine.

A closer look. I just love all the greens and reds. The hint of buttery yellow tops it off perfectly.

A simple look but it still gives a fall feel. It is defiantly starting to feel like fall here too. Gotta love those 60mph wind gusts too!

Well looky there, someone forgot to light the votives. She will need a good talking to. My husband was standing in line at Walgreen's and spotted these votives for me. What a good hubby!

I just love how the light comes through the many windows. It is harder to photograph sometimes but I am learning how to work around it. Sorry you had to see the green monster in the background. See what happens when you rush? GRRRR!

I think some squirrels have been on my table, they left their acorns.

Each plate has a different Rooster. In the background of each plate has little footprints. It looks like the have been walking around.

This guy is sporting the plaid look.

I couldn't pick a favorite if I tried. The are all so sweet!

I hope you enjoyed seeing my Roosters as much as I have enjoyed sharing them with you. Have a great Tablescape Thursday. Thanks to all who stop by and take time to leave a comment. I LOVE hearing from you all almost as much as I love stopping by to see your WONDERFUL tables!!!

I was immediately engaged by the repeating 'spokes' pattern in the dinner plate and the Debbie Mum accent plate. Nice design choice! Your table is lovely...the colors are subtle and welcoming. Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay

Lovely soft colors on this pretty table, Deb! I adore Debbie Mumm designs...so whimsical & fun.

A word of advice, go get extra glasses NOW, as they may not be there when you want more. At that price, I'd be buying 2 dozen at least. Many a time I could just kick myself for not buying more of an item to cover breakage &/or large crowds.

Thank you for your sweet words on my white pumpkin centerpiece. most appreciated.

fondly,
Rett

Your rooster plates are adorable, but I LOVE the candle holder with the leaf design!! I live about 15 miles from the original Oneida factory!! I need to visit the outlet store again.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. I'm a bit behind in my visiting this week!
